Summer begins

School let out and within a few hours...Nate was back in the hospital. We were there just for two days. This time is was for his seizures.

We’ve all been home together for a week now. We had friends over to play today and as we assembled sandwiches for lunch my friend commented, “I can tell it’s officially summer by the aroma of lunch meat...” 😜

I’m pretty proud of myself. Dishes and laundry are BOTH caught up (mostly) and I’m not pulling my hair out yet!  It’s not easy to get Nate out of the house during summer, because of the heat and mosquitoes, so we spend most of our time indoors watching Netflix and doing crafty stuff with the older kids.  And playing with pets.

Introducing:

Pascal the bearded dragon. Why not?  We already have Stella the gecko, several chickens, and a cat.
