Naomi was discharged Easter Sunday. Yea!! The Saturday before, one of the gals in the NICU staff put together a fun easter egg hunt in the hospital lobby for Hyrum and Hannah. They had a blast! The gift shop gave the kids a big basket full of goodies, too. That was such a nice thing to do for our family!
This morning Hyrum gave me a note that he wrote for Naomi a couple days ago. It was transcribed by his speech therapist, so I think it was an exercise during therapy at school. Anyway, this note was soooo typical of Hyrum (with prompts from the speech therapist):
Dear Naomi-
The moon (man in the moon) will heal you up. I love you a tiny bit. Tomorrow I will visit you in the hospital. If you are all better, I will see you at home. Please open your eyes. You are so soft and you smell like pepperoni ice cream.
