Callings

“Callings” or church assignments changed about a month ago. Rusty is now an assistant clerk, tracking attendance and records. Michelle (after teaching toddlers for the past four years and Cub Scouts for the past five years) is now working with the Relief Society (adult women). Basically this means she has to “adult” now. 😉 Hannah is class president.

I can’t think of much else going on around here. The weather has been beautiful lately, and thanks to an unseasonable snow, mosquito free!!  We’ve all been finding excuses to go outside.

We’re all doing fairly well, all things considered.

Brave Children

Our kids are braver than we are! Our ward put on an awesome rodeo yesterday and each kid participated. Naomi tried to catch a rooster. She's the one in the light green jacket.

Hannah was way braver than Rusty was at her age. . . Okay, she is still way braver than Rusty now.  (says Rusty, who is writing this week). She rode a steer. . . calf!

But perhaps braver than all us, Hyrum performed Karaoke. It's amazing what gusto and no filter will do when you really want to belt out a song. We love you Hyrum!

Hannah had her birthday (13!)
We went to an awesome pumpkin patch (plus a hundred other fun activities to do while there):

Hyrum had a fun project for science:
