We came home late Friday.
Saturday was a balmy 64 degrees.
We cooked up a few Thanksgiving treats (just the favorites like mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie) and put up Christmas lights outside.
Beautiful weather, almost no wind, and best of all- NO BUGS!
Mid-afternoon the weather alarm went off, warning us that the weather would turn 180 degrees overnight. Sunday would bring a blizzard. No joke!
Church was canceled. Freezing rain and blinding snow made it unsafe to drive.
By the afternoon we had snow sheeting off of the roof.
It fell moments after I took my photo.
It got fairly deep, too! School is cancelled for tomorrow. The kids are thrilled!
